Inner/Outer

Reading from Tuesday, April 8, 2014 yoga class

"Sometimes, of course, practice can feel flat.  You really don't feel like going to your mat at all.  My philosophy is to hear that emotion and practice anyway.  Once I get going, my enthusiasm grows.  It's like trying to get a kid to take a bath- they don't want to get in the tub, but once they're in, they don't want to get out."       --Timothy McCall, author of "Yoga as Medicine"

"Too often our outer posture is not representing our inner posture, our external behavior isn't matching what we're thinking or feeling and that conflict drains us.  Explore bringing consistency to both your inward stance and your outer posture."   --Elena Brower
