Love, Happiness and Joy

Reading from Monday, December 19, 2011 yoga class

All these quotes are from Judith Lasater:

Happiness cannot be created or destroyed, it arises within us always, like mist off a lake.

Find something to enjoy in each day, each hour, each minute.  that habit will feed your joy.

Love is not something we can DO... rather it is who we ARE, sings in our very cells, and holds us with more compassion than we can ever know.

There is no longer a guard stationed at the doorway to my heart... the only security is to open the doors to your heart and just LOVE.


And in the spirit of Christmas, from one of my favorite Christmas poems, Alfie the Christmas Tree by John Denver... he ends the poem with:  ....So, in your Christmas prayers this year Alfie asked me if I'd ask you... Say a prayer for the wind and the water and the wood, and those who live there, too!! 

I will be having classes on December 26 and on January 2nd.  I will be adding back onto the schedule the Yoga Nidra on its own.  I will also be having a monthly restorative class.  I haven't decided what day and time yet, so keep checking back, but it will begin in January.   Also... just a reminder that on December 26th and 27th there will be a yoga nidra after class.
