Reading from Wednesday, May 28, 2014 yoga class
A couple of poems from "Yoga Meditations" by my friend Grace. Don't you just LOVE the name Grace. :)
"Everything around you is superb,
Made of pure splendor,
Marvelous and magnificent.
See it, feel it, compose yourself only of it.
Live inside it.
Be enchanted by the humblest object,
The simplest act.
It is all you!"
and one of my favorites from this book:
"Trees have different dances.
Sometimes there is a celebration going on,
And the branches swoon in pleasure.
At times there's a family gathering
Where the branches move in conversation.
Sometimes they see you and wave in acknowledgment,
Just for you."
